Privacy Policy
Last updated 3 November 2026
This policy explains what the StyleMate app and website collect, why, who processes it for us and what you can do about it. The controller is EuroAFF.com S.à r.l., 21 Rue du Puits Romain, Centre d'affaires Atrium, L-8070 Bertrange, Luxembourg (RCS Luxembourg B280385, VAT LU35193630). Contact: support@getstylemate.com.
What we collect
- Your account. When you sign in with Apple we receive an Apple user identifier and, if you choose to share them, your name and email (which may be an Apple private relay address).
- Photos you add. A photo of yourself and photos of clothing, and the try-on images made from them.
- What you save in the app. Wardrobe items, outfits, favourites, sizes and style preferences you enter.
- Purchases. Whether you have an active subscription. Payment is handled by Apple; we never see your card.
- Notifications. A device token, if you allow notifications, so we can tell you a try-on is ready.
- Usage. Events such as «app opened» or «try-on started», linked to a random identifier and your account id, to understand how the app is used and fix problems. No photos and no contents of your wardrobe go into analytics.
Why
To provide the service you ask for (try-ons, your wardrobe and outfits), to run subscriptions, to send the notifications you allowed, to keep the service secure and to improve it. The legal basis is the contract with you and, for analytics and security, our legitimate interest.
Your photos
- Your photos are stored privately and are visible only to you. We do not publish them or show them to others.
- We do not sell your photos or any personal data, and we do not use your photos to train our own models.
- To make a try-on, your photo and the clothing photo are sent to our image-generation provider, which processes them to return the result.
Who processes data for us
- Supabase — database, sign-in and photo storage, in the EU (Frankfurt).
- Vercel — our servers, in the EU (Frankfurt).
- OpenAI — image generation for try-ons. Under OpenAI's API terms, data sent through the API is not used to train their models by default and may be kept by OpenAI for up to 30 days for abuse monitoring.
- RevenueCat — subscription status.
- Apple — Sign in with Apple, payments and push notifications.
- Mixpanel — usage analytics, stored in the EU.
Where a provider processes data outside the EU, the transfer is covered by the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
How long we keep it
As long as your account exists. You can delete a photo, a wardrobe item or an outfit at any time. When you delete your account in the app (Account → Delete account), we delete your account, photos, try-ons and everything you saved immediately; copies in our encrypted backups are gone within 7 days.
Your rights
You can ask for access to your data, a copy of it, its correction or deletion, and you can object to processing based on our legitimate interest. Write to support@getstylemate.com. You can also complain to the Luxembourg data protection authority (CNPD).
Children
StyleMate is not intended for children under 16. Do not upload photos of other people without their consent.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update this page and the date above, and tell you in the app if the change matters.
